Phonics Poem- There Was a Crooked Man

There Was a Crooked Man
There was a crooked man
And he walked a crooked mils;
He found a crooked sixpence
Beside a crooked stile;
He bought a crooked cat
And it caught a crooked mouse
And they both lived together
In a wee crooked house.
-Traditional

Identify the cr- blends in the poem and draw an illustration of the crooked man in his crooked house with his crooked cat and his crooked mouse. What are some more things that are crooked?
